Connection not established

Home page with a network error

This can be caused by the following reasons:

  • hostapd is not installed.
  • hostapd configuration file can't be found or can't be read (wrongly formatted).
  • WireGuard is not installed.
  • WireGuard configuration file can't be found or can't be read (wrongly formatted).
  • The wg (WireGuard) binary can't be found.

How to solve this

Ensure both hostapd and WireGuard are installed.

VPN public key not found

If your public key can't be found, you will get the following page:

How to solve this

Click Generate to generate a new key pair.

Can't generate a new VPN key pair

This can be caused by the following reasons:

  • WireGuard is not installed.
  • WireGuard configuration file can't be found or can't be read (wrongly formatted).
  • The wg (WireGuard) binary can't be found.

How to solve this

Ensure WireGuard is installed.

Help!

If you encountered one of those errors and couldn't solve it:

  1. Unplug and plug again the Raspberry Pi.
  2. Try to reinstall the Web Portal.
